2024 Living Legend Award

Gregory Price, CCMA (he/him) has worked at Equitas Health for several years. He started as a testing coordinator under the Greater Columbus Mpowerment Center, where he created meaningful and impactful changes to the sexual outcome for same gender loving men of color ages 13-29. Gregory left Equitas Health to work to for the City of Columbus, where he served as Medicaid supportive advisor for the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging for four years.

Afterwards, Gregory returned to Equitas Health as a Prevention Specialist and worked his way up. Gregory led the Columbus EIS health navigation team, as well as the Community Based testing team, as a Prevention Programs Manager at Equitas Health. He oversaw the Community Base testing team and Brothers in Unity.

In December of 2022, Gregory took on the role of dual manager and temporarily lead the King-Lincoln Community Health Center and Pharmacy. In this role, Gregory was responsible for day-to-day operations and created strategical change to improve operational flow at King-Lincoln. In May of 2023, Greg was promoted to Northeast Associate Director of Clinical Operations. In that position, he led the opening and implementation of Equitas Health’s fifth community health center and pharmacy located in Akron, Ohio.

He prides himself in his ability to deliver meaningful and impactful health outcomes for underserved communities. This passion has motivated him to complete his nursing program in June of 2025. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his mini Sheepadoodle, named “Mister Big Papa!”

Support Brothers in Unity

Brothers in Unity (BIU) provides support, affirmation, and HIV prevention services to same-gender loving men of color in Columbus, Ohio. BIU combines affirming social spaces and HIV testing to empower the community and help them meet their social and healthcare needs.
